However, even in such situations, we must understand that failure is just a path to success, and facing our fears is important. Thoughts like, ‘I’m going to fail,’ or ‘I don’t have the skills to do this,’ never serve us and become roadblocks between us and our goals. We must use positive self-talk to defeat these thoughts. Affirmations like, ‘I am strong,’ or ‘I can conquer anything,’ always help raise our self-esteem and prove useful in achieving what we set our minds to. We must accept that it will be scary, but we must understand that fear is a natural response so we can move on to achieve greater things.
